| My Webster's dictionary defines "wayfaring" as: being on the road, roving, journeying, and traveling. As for "cruisers", my definition is: people who head out on the pavement in their favorite ride simply looking for what new adventure may be around the next bend. Cruiser. It's not just the car, it's the lifestyle, the cruiser spirit - a wayfaring spirit combined with four wheels. "The Wayfaring Cruisers", yeah, that name seems to fit our group.....perfectly. |
| The Wayfaring Cruisers is an "old school" type of car club. We come from all backgrounds and walks of life. Many of our members remember how car clubs used to be, the fun, the camaraderie, going places, seeing things, experiencing the call of the road, and most of all .... enjoying life. Many car clubs of today could learn from the past. Too much time is lost, experiences never gained, life long friends never made. We remember the past, and we have nothing to prove or anyone to impress. Life's too short............cruise when you can. Want to tag along with us? |
| The Wayfaring Cruisers is a chartered chapter of the National PT Cruiser Club (PTCC) as a South Region member. Our chapter ID (CID) is TWC14347. Our chapter is based in Oklahoma. You do not have to be a PTCC member to attend our activities, but we encourage all PT Cruiser owners to check out the many benefits of joining the PTCC, and our chapter club. | The PT Cruiser is the common denominator within our club. It's funny as to how that retro styled car can draw so many good people together. We don't really care as to how plain or fancy your PT cruiser is. The wayfaring spirit of the open road is what binds us together. We welcome PT cruisers and vintage model cruisers to join us at our meet and greets. If you are looking for an "old school" style car club, come check us out. You may contact us through our "activities" page. |
